Sea Girls (シーガールズ Shi garuzu) is a series created by MikuHatsune145. This is a spin-off of the series Mermaid Chronicles and features the main characters Pearl, Amethyst and Ruby.
Story
Amelia Miller is an english woman in her twenties, who moved to Okinawa for its peaceful and beautiful scenery but mostly for it's sea. She's an aspiring writer who wants to write about the sea and it's secrets. Pearl, Amethyst and Ruby are all grown-up and are experienced mermaids and Nila, Sirena and Kimiko are in faculty (but still lives in their house).
Amelia loves diving and is interested by the sea and the oceans. She owns a boat and went diving a night near Aqua Lapis and entered in the island's moon pool right when the moon appeared. The next day, she went at the beach and a leaving boat splashed her, 10 seconds later, she transformed into a mermaid. The girls who were there saw her and decided to help her and revealed their identity.

Amelia is an aspiring writer and a sea lover, since she is a child and loves diving. She always swam like a mermaid (hands up and legs "glued") and loves dolphins. She loves writing and always created story about the sea and its creatures and that's what inspired her to become a writer about the sea and the oceans. When she went diving at night, she entered the moon pool and the moon flashed on the water. The next day, she transformed into a mermaid and started boiling things and manipulated water accidentally. The girls all decided to help her. Amelia has difficulty now adapting to her life as a mermaid but still find advantages (like diving without holding her breathe, getting to know rare fish species and underwater plants).

Pearl is now a grown up girl and now masters her powers and also has great knowledge in spells and potions and to create powerful ones. She became more serious and smart and is very scientific and loves litterature. She likes living with humans and got a job in a marine park as a dolphin trainer where she gets along with them and likes learning them tricks. She's less shy and is more outgoing and cares more about her appearance. Pearl now teaches the younger mermaids in the pod and is really more experienced that she was before. Out of three girls, she's the most serious one and can be kinda bossy when there's work to do. Her spell and magical knowledge, makes her a great mermaid teacher.

Amethyst is now a grown up mermaid, she still is fizzy and easygoing but is now very serious and Ruby describes her as a "work-a-holic" (but not as much as Pearl). Like Pearl, she took a part-time job at the I Scream for Ice Cream ice cream parlor (and she finds that the name is awful). She matured a lot and is now much more serious than she was before. Along with Pearl and Ruby, she became a teacher for the younger mermaids, now that she masters her powers and even discovered a new one (Gelidkinesis). She owns a magical conch who has the ability to push back big mammals (sharks and whales) and threatening mermaids. Amethyst proved that she was worth of being a teacher when she succeeded to realize a powerful spell on her first try.
