The Flyable Heart film duology (劇場版フライアブル ハート二部作) is a series of theatrical feature films based on the video game in the same name, developed by UnisonSHIFT.

  1. Jun Maeda (writer of Clannad, Kanon, Air, Angel Beats and Little Busters) will be writing the scripts of the two films, along with Ichikawa Tamaki. Jun also reported that the scripts will somehow use nakige-style writing.
  2. The cast was revealed:
    • Yuuichi Nakamura will be voicing Shou Katsuragi, the main protagonist of the two films.
      • Originally Yoshitsugu Matsuoka was auditioned for Shou's voice, but it was declined by the behest of the producer.
    • It was confirmed that Yui Ogura and Keiko Suzuki (under the name Chisato Suzumori) will be reprising their roles as Yui Inaba and Mayuri Shirasagi.
    • Other characters will be recasted by other Seiyuus:

  3. It was revealed that the films will focus on a love triangle relationship between Shou, Yui, and Mayuri, rather than using the harem genre in the original game does.
  4. The producer confirms that some of the characters from other UnisonSHIFT games will be making very, very small non-speaking cameos.
  5. Aniplex & Bang Zoom Ent. will be producing an English Dub version of the films, while several casts were revealed:
    • Crispin Freeman will be voicing Shou Katsuragi.
    • Xanthe Huynh will be voicing Yui Inaba.
    • Carrie Savage will be voicing Mayuri Shirasagi.
