Akamaru Tsubasa (赤丸翼?) is the main protagonist of the Magical Warriors: Arc en Ciel Guardians Series. Tsubasa is an energetic and outgoing 14-year old who is always willing to put others before her but usually gets told off by her parents and best friend, Zaizen Mai, for her actions. After meeting Akai, Tsubasa can transform into Rouge Heart. the Rainbow Guardian of Hope who uses the power of songs during battle. Her theme color is red.

In her civilian form, Tsubasa has shoulder blade-length reddish brown hair pulled up into twintails using a scarlet bow on each twintail and dark read eyes. Tsubasa's casual wear consists on a red top with the sleeves ending at her elbows. She also wears crimson leggings along with dark red boots.

Rouge Heart (ルージュハート?) is Tsubasa's Guardian alter ego who uses the power of song during battles while representing hope. To transform into Rouge Heart, Tsubasa needs her Color Perfume, be with Akai and needs to shout "Rainbow Guardian Power, Activate!". Her main attack is Rouge Melody in which she needs her Rouge Microphone to perform.
Transformation[]
Tsubasa first calls Akai, who is then absorbed into the Color Perfume. Tsubasa then shouts "Rainbow Guardian Power," and she starts to spray the perfume around whilst spinning, forming a glittery red robe while her hair is released from being twintails. She then shouts "Activate!" and her dress appears, followed by her arm warmers and boots. She then smiles and strokes her hair, causing it to grow longer and go red. After, she blinks which causes her eyes to shift to salmon. She then recites her speech and makes her final pose.
